This monograph consists of essays and research papers covering the concepts and practice of peace journalism. There are essays which have de-constructed various aspects of peace journalism. Some research papers have looked into journalism’s current practice through the prism of ‘peace’, and there is an essay that attempts to look at journalism education in India from peace journalism perspective.

We hope this monograph will not only enlighten the budding and practising journalists about this genre of journalistic practices, especially in the conflict-ridden environment we live in, but also open up more meaningful discussion around this relatively modern discourse.
