Artificial Intelligence is changing every aspect of modern society and industries across the world. Media sphere is also trying hard to cope with this phenomenon and majority of them have made a way to co-exist with this new technology miracle. Since print is the oldest media form and still believes in the classical journalism approach, it's interesting to see how print media has adopted itself to AI intervention.

This book is our small endeavor to explore how print media is adopting AI in the newsroom and how AI is going to change and shape future of print media. As the title of this book- ‘AI and the Future of Print Media: Disruption, Adaptation, and Strategic Transformation’ suggests, we have tried to explore every dimension of AI’s influence on print media and its future course of action. Print has a long-established history of ink on paper and digital era has profoundly disrupted it by algorithms, convergence and audience behavior patterns.

The book arises out of a shared belief that despite the existential threats of AI, print is going to survive through new forms of adaptation and reinvention. It has a bright future in India. As the Editors of this book, we embarked on this journey with the hope of giving new insights about print media and effect of AI in their survival. For this purpose, we have brought together academicians, experts and opinion makers to not only discuss the repercussions but also the strategic advantages that AI poses today.
